The Emigrantes project is connected with a long dramaturgical tradition at the Archa Theatre, which deals with the fates of people who find themselves in life crises. Emigrantes is the next performance in a series of projects by the VerTeDance group, in which, just as in previous projects “The Brave” and “Thirty-three Sunsets” adult and child dancers perform together on the stage. Emigrantes examines the phenomenon of refugees through the eyes of children.

The phenomenon of the lives of fugitives seen through the eyes of Armenian boy is described here. This partly fairy-tale story has a real model. The fate of a small boy who together with others had to leave a trustworthy and familiar place called HOME. He was still quite a small boy. His memories become broken up and blurred thus losing their sharp countours. Surprisingly however, he recalls feelings precisely. His life suddenly turned into a question, searching for a safe shelter, desire for being accepted without prejudice.
